Daniel Dugan

One Continuous Line

Gallery 33 presents One Continuous Line, an exhibition by Los Angeles-based artist Daniel Dugan, bringing together paintings, works on paper, sculpture, photography, and land art through the visual language that has defined his practice for nearly three decades. At the center of Dugan's work is a single continuous line. Drawn intuitively, with spacing maintained by the eye, the line moves through each composition without intersecting itself, creating intricate, labyrinthine forms with a clear beginning and ending. His practice is an exercise in patience and sustained attention, exploring the tension between order and chaos, control and surrender.
